Welcome to Jonathan Mandell Mosaics where Jonathan transforms the ancient medium of mosaics into beautifully composed works of fine art. Painting, sculpture and drawing blend together as one in Jonathan's unique wall-mounted and three-dimensional pieces. His stunning assemblage of semi-precious stones and minerals invite viewers to touch, as well as see his mosaics, thereby enriching their entire art sensory experience.
Jonathan creates work by commission and for gallery exhibition. His diverse portfolio includes portraiture, sports, landscapes and Judaica. Jonathan's mosaics can be seen at the National Constitution Center (Philadelphia); The University of Pennsylvania (Steinhardt Hall); the McGraw Hill Company (New York); The National Liberty Museum (Philadelphia); and now at Citizens Bank Park, the new home of the Philadelphia Phillies; as well as at many institutions throughout the country.
