Jonathan prefers the surreal approach to his nature studies. His locally sourced glass contains experimental patterns and has shattered in unusual ways. Jonathan incorporates these shapes and patterns to create a unique and otherworldly vision of nature. The artist intentionally gives his flowers anthropomorphic poses, as if they are jumping off the piece and looking back into the viewer.
